Professor Suzanne Fitzpatrick's seminar presentation at the Finnish national seminar on homelessness

Professor Suzanne Fitzpatrick from Scotland's Heriot-Watt University visited the Finnish national seminar on homelessness, held in Tampere on 18th October 2011.

In her presentation, professor Fitzpatrick talked about "Housing First in the European context", and also discussed the application of Housing First principles in Britain.

Professor Fitzpatrick outlined the principles of both the traditional, linear model of dealing with homelessness, and the Housing First model, and presented some of the outcomes of Housing First. You can read the full seminar presentation here:

30.09.2014 The evaluation on the Finnish HF Program in 2014

Evaluation on the whole PAAVO program (2008-2015) will be carried out in 2014 as an international research review. The evaluation team consists of distinguished researchers on homelessness issues. The target of the process is to provide information and outlooks on measures in tackling homelessness after the present program period.
